Position Summary
 
The Partner Program Specialist supports and manages Meridian IT’s top-tier partner programs, including distributor programs. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that help propel business and strengthen our strategic partnerships.
 

Duties and Responsibilities
 
  • Focal point for partner communications; participate in quarterly business reviews, internal and external update meetings;
  • Understand Meridian’s Solutions strategy and how to leverage partner programs to increase sales;
  • Develop analysis to understand trends, provide meaningful insights & track the impact of initiatives against our goals;
  • User Management of partner portals; access, permissions, removals;
  • Timely management of programs; certifications, training and required enrollment;
  • Point of contact for deal escalations with partners and distributors;
  • Knowledge of partner registration processes, distribution models and rules of engagement;
  • Collaborate with operational teams on partner transaction execution;
  • Interface with internal teams to ensure linkage of process and procedures for each partner; Architecture, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Legal, Finance.
  • Coordinate and process New Partner requests, in collaboration with Business Operations, Sales and Legal teams;
  • Identify associated partner program guidelines to maximize rebates and co-marketing investments;
  • Track rebates and incentives;
  • Complete POP (proof of performance) process to secure funding; track reimbursement, reconcile and report to finance;
  • Coordinate and manage internal activity for partner audits;
  • Ensure all compliance/validation programs are in place, executed and tracked;
  • Collaborate with Marketing to execute MDF initiatives: event planning, videos, written success stories, testimonials;
    • Provide direction to third-party agencies and teams
    • Track & report results of marketing campaigns
  • Manage partner MOU’S (memo of understanding) agreements ensure execution of key success dates;
    • Initial setup/agreements
    • Ongoing touch point and program status calls
  • Participate in partner conferences as requested.
 

Qualifications & Requirements
 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience working with technology partners and distributors;
  • Knowledge of traditional IT and cloud technologies a plus;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; task prioritization to meet deadlines;
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint:
  • Self-motivated team player and independent problem solver;
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and resourceful; take ownership of tasks and projects;
  • Occasional travel for training and/or events.
