What you will be doing as the MedSpeed Operations Manager:

  • Overall leadership of Logistics Service Representatives, including performance management, recruitment, hiring, training, coaching and development
  • Manage service quality and efficiency through daily observations, monitoring of exception and performance reports and follow up coaching
  • Ensure accuracy and ongoing system maintenance of route, client and variable stop data
  • Perform Logistic Service Representative route observations to ensure compliance with safety, client and operational procedures and identify improvement opportunities
  • Maintain positive client relationships through regular communication and prompt resolution of service exceptions
  • Establish and maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure compliance with company’s Making Every Day Safe policy
  • Review daily vehicle pre/post trip inspection checklists, coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors and maintain maintenance history file
  • Assist operations team with projects to improve operational efficiency and service quality
  • All other job-related duties as assigned
  • Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture
  • Other job-related duties as assigned  

What you will need to bring to be the MedSpeed Operations Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • 3-5 years logistics or transportation work experience preferred, or 3+ years management experience preferred
