The Senior Manager, FP&A at MedSpeed, will provide in-depth analysis and strategic recommendations to company leadership across key business areas. This role will lead special projects relevant to driving revenue or profitability across the enterprise. Through robust modeling and analysis, this position will create, track, forecast, and analyze Corporate-level financial information to aid the business in making critical, time-sensitive decisions.
The successful candidate will bring an experienced combination of corporate finance analytical ability and critical thinking across multiple financial areas, driving business objectives while maintaining a thorough and rigorous system of analysis.
What you will be doing as Senior Manager, FP & A at MedSpeed:
- Oversee Corporate period-end financial reporting and variance analysis. Investigate and communicate detailed drivers of operations performance and spending within departments.
- Support strategies to manage and report Capex, Opex and project costs with impact to the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements. Experienced reporting EBITDA based P&L.
- Responsible for executing enterprise-wide planning processes, including annual operating plan and quarterly re-forecast cycle.
- Develop and refine long-term forecasting models to support company-wide strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Provide leadership support to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes for executive leadership team, delivering quality and insightful reports and analytics in a timely manner
- Evaluate the financial impact and expected returns associated with enterprise-wide strategic initiatives using financial modeling. Provide recommendations to management for delivering long—and short-term business objectives.
- Develop presentation materials and analysis for the executive leadership team, board of directors, PE stakeholders and lenders.
- Manage CAPEX reporting and assist with modeling economic justifications and return on invested capital analysis.
- Develop cash flow and regional forecasts, including tracking of and justification for add-back items
- Produce accurate and timely financial information and analysis; promote an environment of strong internal controls and efficiencies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes and models, ensuring scalability and efficiency in strategic planning.
- Provide value-added analytics and KPI tracking to improve enterprise financial performance.
- Ensure data accuracy through the implementation of systematic and self-check processes.
- Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's principles, policies, and applicable law.
- Prepare lease vs buy analysis and understand the complexity of financing options.
What you need to join MedSpeed as Senior Manager, FP & A:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. CPA or MBA preferred, but not required.
- Multi-unit FP&A background with experience consolidating financials across multiple site P&Ls is highly preferred.
- Highly skilled in preparing board level financial presentations with appropriate analysis
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance/FP&A or strategic finance. Understands the skills and focus necessary to be successful working in a PE environment
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, excel graphs and financial planning tools and reporting (NetSuite, Adaptive)
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with a strong ability to turn data into actionable insights
Compensation Statement
The salary range is $110,000 - $130,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, MedSpeed offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and company performance.
