The Instructional Designer will work collaboratively with all departments to help coordinate and conduct training programs. Assists in developing training courses, relevant manuals and helps with LMS administration.
How You Will Contribute:
- Design and develop training programs, including training manuals, on-the-job training and technology-based learning
- Design, prepare, review, and distribute educational materials
- Collaborate with department leaders to assist in the development of SOP content as needed
- Maintain updated curriculum database and training records in the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Keep up to date on new training methods, legal training requirements, and best practices
- Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture
- Other tasks as assigned
Skills For Success:
- Excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with Articulate, Rise, and Storyline required
- Creative skill savvy multimedia user: Camtasia, SnagIt, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Must reside in Chicagoland area
- LMS administration experience preferred
- Excellent writing and content development skills
- Collaborative work style, able to work well within and across departments
- Familiarity with job training methods and techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Time management skills and ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred in organizational development or education
- 1-2 years experience supporting Human Resources and/or supporting Executive Level Management

The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $85,000, depending on factors like experience, skills, and location. A discretionary bonus is also available.
