Account Lead for DCO (Dynamic Creative Optimization)



Mediacom is looking for an Account Lead for one of our largest DCO clients (Dell). Focusing primarily on our global Dell business, the ideal candidate will play an “integrator” role– i.e. be the champion for client success as she/he connects the dots between multiple service groups (i.e. Programmatic, Creative, DCO Technology Platform Supplier, Production, Data Analytics group, Audience and Media Strategy group, etc). Your objective will be to manage key relationships on both agency and client side, while exercising your DCO knowledge to rally the team around the right solution. 

Meeting regularly with team leads, client executives, and industry partners to discuss our unique approach, you will apply key insights to address client business challenges, and new opportunities for joint success. You will be approachable and authoritative, able to engage all levels of agency management with conviction and poise. 


  • Lead DCO strategy for Dell client team, and provide strategic input and advice on integrating DCO solution in media and technology mix
  • Work autonomously, but operate with in a cross-channel, multi-disciplinary team, integrating across content, creative, search, social, and ecommerce and tech specialists 
  • Provide thought leadership across channels including Display, Social, OLV, DOOH, Audio, etc.  
  • Support DCO business expansion through RFP response, thought leadership, and pitch support 
  • Meet regularly with all levels of agency partners to oversee/evaluate campaign performance, monitor KPIs, recommend adjustments, etc.
  • Act as a DCO advisor/mentor to client and our senior staff and assist them in sound decision making  
  • Maintain strategic oversight of client relationship with clients at all levels,
  • Oversee all work-streams for the Dell account, including:
    • Seamless integration of MediaCom’s DCO product from end-to-end
    • Campaign development/implementation including oversight of timelines and deliverables
    • Campaign reporting-- identify and apply key learnings to drive future initiatives
    • Standardize communication with clients to drive understanding and adoption of DCO product
    • Develop DCO-specific briefing process and refine team approach to responding to briefs
    • Drive media/DCO training programs for Mediacom and client teams
    • Managing vendor relationships


  • Intimate knowledge of DCO process-- from media, to creative, to DCO tech platforms.
  • 3-5 years experience in account management or client services function within an agency, network or ad tech company 
  • Deep knowledge of marketing, creative, and media industry with a deep understanding of best practices in digital marketing
  • knowledge of the creative process, audience strategy and online ad targeting, industry technology, campaign pricing models and metrics 
  • Experience with one or more DCO platforms, ad servers, trading platforms (e.g. Jivox, FlashTalking, Clinch, Inovid, SundaySky, Doubleclick Bid Manager, Xandr, The Trade Desk, Sizmek, etc.) 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-- experienced and comfortable in taking the lead in client meetings  
  • Exceptional presentation skills for all levels from 101 sessions to executive level summaries 
  • Significant organizational skills and ability to balance multiple timelines
