Senior Associate, Planning

Description

Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our team, responsible for managing day-to-day plan changes/maintenance of media plans across disciplines for the LATAM Region. Spanish fluency is required for this role.

 

Your Impact:

Utilizing your exceptional critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, you will provide input to the strategic direction to create the best plans possible. More specifically, you’ll

  • Work directly with assistant media planner in creating, updating, and presenting media plans 
  • Respond to competitive requests 
  • Research and compile competitive data 
  • Conduct analysis, planning, placement, and related reports 
  • Assemble and evaluate marketing data to determine the client’s advertising and media needs 
  • Analyze media alternatives to recommend how to best allocate the advertising budget  
  • Maintain regular contact with junior-level clients and account management  
  • Train Associates and prepare them for the next level 
  • Evaluate and propose targeting, geography, scheduling, support level, and budget 
  • Work with other teams to solve media problems (e.g. buyers understand planners and vice versa, execution of integrated/added-value programs, billing discrepancies, traffic problems, contract loading, pre-emption, make-goods) 
  • Write POV’s 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field; or equivalent professional work experience
  • 1-2+ years of media planning experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (working with local clients within the LATAM region)
