Associate Director, Planning



We are looking for an Associate Director of Integrated Planning to join our team, responsible for delivering communications plans for our clients and integrating plans across all media channels.


Your Impact:

Utilizing your analytical and creative-thinking skills, you will drive the planning outputs for clients delivering fully integrated channel plans. More specifically, you’ll

  • Develop audience profiles and uncover unique insights to enhance channel planning
  • Explore and uncover the best channel targeting for client’s objectives
  • Produce innovative channel plans that are aligned to client objectives and MediaCom’s strategies
  • Manage direct reports and partners in the execution of channel plans while leading channel budget allocations for all media channels
  • Oversee media dollars in market and continuous review of investments across all channels
  • Ensure excellent data insight, management, and quality strategies are implementing for the client
  • Monitor performance of media plans against client/MediaCom objectives
  • Manage team deliveries of all key client objectives while maintaining highly visible presence with day-to-day clients
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications; or equivalent professional work experience
  • 6 to 8 years’ previous experience desired
  • Prior experience managing a team
  • An up-to-date knowledge of key consumer insight tools, including DMPs and digital resources
  • Understand and capable of utilizing key media planning tools (e.g. CommsPoint, Reach Optimizers)
