Regulatory Coordinator We have an immediate opening for a Regulatory Coordinator in our North Little Rock, AR office.  If your background or education consists of maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, processing driver Personnel (HR) administrative records and excellent customer service skill, please apply. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Completes audit on each new driver file to verify DOT compliance has been met.  Processes annual MVRs and Violation Review project for all employees.  Reviews and responds to MVR monitoring alerts daily. Ensures all DOT physicals, CDLs, and driver licenses within the company remain valid.  Processes DMV receipts for medical cards.
  • Runs and monitors annual queries on the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and oversees the random and preemployment drug screens.  Clears PRE students through drug testing, physicals, compensated work, violations, and logbook prior to hire.  Manages OSA needs for current drivers (sleep studies, cpap machines, compliance, machine malfunctions).  Ensures legal compliance with company and DOT Hours of Service regulations by auditing drivers’ logs.
  • Advises and counsels drivers who are in non-compliance and takes appropriate action when needed.  Processes DOT inspections and ensures they are returned to issuing state in 15 days.  Intakes citations, issues points on driver index, assigns the appropriate training, and ensures payment is made to court for fines.  Manages safety related admin leave.  Helps facilitate Safety Committee meetings to rule on preventability of workplace injuries.
  • Assigns safety points and training for preventable accidents and injuries.  Places drivers on safety probation as needed.  Assigns, tracks, and files new hire OSHA training.  Tracks and maintains recurring OSHA and other training (forklift, crane, MEWP, slips and falls, ladder).  Coordinates the safety award programs for drivers and securement specialists.  Assigns all ISNetworld training.  Issues rider passes for drivers.
  • Updates employee records with Driver Legal Plan applications and securement specialist/driver fill-in paperwork.  Assists Operations with driver retention conversations (RETCON).  Directs driver employment verification requests to the correct resources.  Oversees approval of all company PPE purchases.  Maintains the record storage and destruction program of imaged documents.  Ensures company confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area, e.g., data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
