ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Control cost by following established guidelines and promptness of: swaps, T-Calls, and repowers.  Generate accurate weekend pay reports.
  2. Assist and participate in the creation of department actions plans that support the company’s strategic business plan.
  3. Establish, modify, document and coordinate job documentation or areas managed.  Manage, assign, delegate and direct duties of drivers.  Appraise performances, coach, counsel, reward and discipline drivers.  Maintain harmony among workers and resolve conflicts.  Terminate drivers, if necessary.  Support and enforce operational and personnel policies, company programs and procedures.
  4. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participating in appropriate training.
  5. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.  Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training, and 1 to 6 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
