Diesel Mechanic We are immediately hiring multiple Diesel Mechanics to maintain, diagnose and repair our commercial vehicles and related equipment in Dallas, TX at the Home Depot Distribution Center (DC) location (9222 W. Jefferson St - Dallas, TX 75211).  If your background includes diesel technician or related experience and excellent customer service skills, please apply!  We have multiple shifts available!

Responsibilities 
  
  • Perform DOT inspection and minor maintenance 
  • Trailer maintenance 
  • Successfully repair equipment as assigned
  • Controlling downtime

Duties
  
  • Perform diagnostic work, campaign and recalls on all equipment within specified Service Repair Times (SRT)
  • Follow established maintenance procedures and guidelines
  • Safety procedures are followed at all times.
WORKING CONDITIONS 
Shop environment where continuously exposed to several elements such as, noise, intermittent standing, walking; and occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting.  Also may have exposure at times to the outside weather elements.
