Inventory Control Coordinator We are hiring immediately for an Inventory Control Coordinator within our Maintenance Department. If your background or education includes excellent customer service skills, inventory control and providing clerical support to the maintenance department, please apply!
Responsibilities: 
  • Check stock, place and expedite orders to ensure parts are in stock when needed.  Perform monthly inventory reconciliation and maintain variance at 1% or less.
  • Verify receipt of parts and supplies. Distribute parts and supplies to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor and relieve obsolete parts from inventory. Set up secondary vendors to be utilized when parts are unavailable from primary vendors.
  • Provide administrative support by copying and typing correspondence, maintaining records, and filing.
  • Process payments, enter, code, and balance inventory data and other records.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participating in appropriate training. Ensure company confidentiality.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area, e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training, and 1 to 6 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS 
Shop environment where continuously exposed to several elements such as, noise, intermittent standing, walking; and occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting.  Also may have exposure at times to the outside weather elements.
