Human Resources Generalist

Marvel Marketers is searching for an HR Generalist to execute on strategic initiatives and HR needs of a global remote organization while partnering with our Director of HR. . As a point of contact for HR matters, you will have a direct impact on maintaining corporate culture. This position requires relationship building and partnering with the management team, sound judgment in all HR related issues and the ability to proactively improve HR functions and processes in line with overall company strategy.
Essential responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Front line responder for all HR queries directed to the HR Mailbox
- Processing U.S. payroll
- Onboarding, Offboarding, and Change Management process owner
- Implementing and administering strategies that support the larger goals of the HR organization
- Counseling and providing assistance to employees and managers, guided by the company's policies and relevant laws/regulations
- Handling employee relations while escalating and partnering with HR leadership on more complex concerns
- Working with managers and directors to implement key HR recommendations and change efforts
- Assisting with the creation, documentation, and implementation of human resources policies, programs, and processes
- Upholding standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents
- Maintaining online employee files and processing HR transactions all within the HRIS
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in HR Administrative and Generalist responsibilities
- Ability to work with and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to take ownership and resolve challenging situations with the good judgment to know when to appropriately escalate matters as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly focused attention to detail
- High level of integrity, credibility and customer service orientation
- Excellent problem solving, time management, reporting, data analysis/interpretation and data manipulation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Ability to understand and explain complex policies and guidelines
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments, and to quickly adapt to unfamiliar tasks for appropriate decision making, especially in the area of process improvements
