Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Typical duties and responsibilities include to inspect, troubleshoot and repair equipment. Establish and maintain planned maintenance activities. Share knowledge and train others. Perform job duties with minimal supervision. Perform physical and mental activities as required, including but not limited to, lifting, climbing, and operation of genie booms, fork trucks, and all lifting devices as needed. Injection Mold equipment experience is a plus.
PLC experience required.
Efficient with windows 10
Ability to Install computer software Maintenance will need to troubleshoot machines
Maintain Maintenance Laptops and keep them Updated.
Maintain Rockwell Tech connect account
Maintain Hagerman AutoCad account
Basic knowledge of Industrial Protocols- Ethernet, Ethercat, Profibus, DeviceNet, DH485, Serial port connections (rs232)
Efficient with excel spreadsheets and project documentation
Basic Knowledge on the following PLC software- Mitsubishi GX developer and GX Works, RS Logix 5000, RS Logix 500, Sysmac Studio, CX- Programmer
Basic Knowledge of the following HMI software- factory talk view, GP- ProEx
HMI repair and Troubleshooting
Servo Amplifier Troubleshooting
Proficient knowledge of Vision Systems- Cognex, Keyence
Proficient knowledge of PLC controllers- Compact Logix, Control Logix, Omron, Mitsubishi Q series
Basic Machine Controls
Basic Electricity
Basic Hydraulics
Basic Pneumatics
Critical Thinking in high stress situations
Troubleshoot High Voltage Motor Starting circuits. 3 phase/ Single phase.
Able to read Electrical Schematics
Able to read Hydraulic Schematics
Reliability- Strain Gauges, Vibration Sensor Monitoring
Basic Knowledge of Automation Robot Applications- Epson, Motoman, ABB, Kuka, Omron Cobra, Star.
Ability to Collaborate with Maintenance, Toolmakers, and Engineering to solve re-occurring and new issues machines may encounter then implement changes as a team.
Pay rate based on Experience.
Level 1*:
Tier I- Technical Diploma beyond high school or associates degree in a technical field with hands-on learning experience.
Tier II- Must meet tier I requirements and have 3000 hours of Skilled Trades experience.
Level 2*: A minimum of two years formal education beyond high school or Associate. Degree in a technical field that provided hands on learning experience and three years of on the job experience in technical trades (6000 hours if internal candidate), or five years proven experience in a technical field.
Level 3*: Must meet level 2 requirements and performance expectations
All levels must have the ability to work in a multi-skilled environment including the potential to perform work across other skilled trades’ crafts. A demonstrated desire and ability to learn including ability to train others is required. Must possess leadership ability in both project management and continuous improvement activities. Must demonstrate thoroughness and orderliness in performing work assignments. Requires ability to utilize tools, follow directions, maintain tempo, recognize quality, problem solve, exhibit teamwork, use interpersonal skills, work safely, and work overtime as required. May be required to qualify for fork truck certification and operate lift devices as necessary.
