What You’ll Do:

  • Train new staff members and develop a succession plan.
  • Manage staff schedules and rotations, including planning for peak periods and staff absences.
  • Regularly assess inventory levels in assigned areas and collaborate with the inventory control team to address discrepancies or stock shortages.
  • Monitor KPIs for the team, such as accuracy & productivity rates, and implement strategies to exceed targets.
  • Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations and team efficiency. Address operational challenges and bottlenecks, ensuring quick resolution to maintain workflow and minimize disruptions.
  • Conduct random quality control checks to ensure adherence to warehouse standards and procedures.
  • Ensure product is cleared from the isles and stored on the shelf in the picking UOM to ensure efficient picking.
  • Perform hourly walks to ensure the team is productive and answer any questions they may have.
  • Report any newly received goods that are damaged or non-scannable to the Receiving Supervisor.
  • Report any damaged goods found stored in the warehouse to the Assistant Warehouse Manager on afternoons so they can be repaired or written off.
  • Ensure all equipment is returned to their assigned home location at the end of your shift and charged if necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Work towards reconciling system discrepancies and suggesting improvements.
  • Promote a safe working environment through compliance and understanding of Health
    and Safety rules and regulations, along with company policies and procedures.
  • Commit to further advancing one’s warehouse knowledge (ex. equipment, procedures).

Do you fit the part?

  • Must be willing to work as a member of a team and be flexible in undertaking a variety of duties that will contribute to the success of the organization.
  • The ability to be organized, multitask, and solve problems.
  • At least 2 years of warehouse RF Storage experience.
  • Familiar with RF scanners, Conveyor systems, and leading the work of others.
  • Experience working in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Ability to multitask and delegate as needed.
  • Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills when working individually,
    and with the team.
  • The ability to work with basic computer applications.
  • Good math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the
    ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program.
  • Steel-toe shoes are required.

Pay range $43k-$52k/annually, based on experience
