RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure purchase orders are received accurately and Put Away within 1 business day of receiving the shipment on the dock.
  • Work with the Buyers to research all reported damages, shorts and /or over shipments and substandard pallets from vendors.
  • Continually look for more efficient ways to receive inbound product and ensure there is enough locations and space for all product before it arrives.
  • Complete receiving discrepancy forms accurately and in a timely basis and submit with the packing list to the correct buyer and or Equipment Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records, control paperwork flow and ensure it is properly filed.
  • Ensure all product is correctly identified and barcoded prior to storing it.
  • Ensure product is put away in an organized fashion and bin located within Autoparts system.
  • Pick and ship customer/store orders as per requested date in a manner so they are not damaged in transit.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to ensure safety and health regulations in the warehouse are followed and enforced.
  • Keep current with product knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • 2 years of warehouse experience.
  • Reach Truck, Counter Balance licence is required.
  • TDG certification is considered an asset.
  • Must be willing to work as a member of a team and be flexible in undertaking a variety of duties that will contribute to the success of the organization. 
  • Must be physically fit, able to safely and repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items 
  • Requires the ability to work with basic computer applications.
  • Good math skills and attention to details
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Requires the ability to be organized, multitask and solve problems.
