Internal Opportunity FAQ

  • How do I know I am ready for a new role?

There are resources to help guide your career progression and facilitate conversations with your Manager. Our People & Culture team is always here to support you. Check out the LogiLife page on performance for further details and tools: Develop.

  • Do I have to tell my Manager?

It is always best to talk with your manager about your career development and opportunities within Logitech to continue your growth. Talking through the role with your manager can help you to prepare and think about how the role might fit with your overall plan. If there are special reasons you feel you cannot speak with your manager, reach out to People & Culture to discuss your situation.

  • Will People & Culture or my Manager be notified?

We encourage you to discuss with your manager and our people & culture teams, as eventually your manager will need to know and this is best a discussion led by you.

  • Do I have to be in my current role for a certain period of time?

There is no set time you must be in your current role. But like any job change (external or internal) it is important that you can demonstrate your commitment to your current role with solid achievements and contributions to the team.

  • I’m not interested in the posted jobs, but want to be considered for future roles. What do I do?

You can sign up for job alerts on the careers page and you will be notified when roles meeting your criteria are posted.

  • I found a job that I am interested in, what do I do?

Apply online and you will be considered for the role.

  • How should I prepare to interview for the job I applied for?

The same way you would prepare for an external interview - read the job description carefully and prepare examples from your experience whilst being prepared to address how you will learn the areas of the job that will be new to you.

  • I didn’t get the job, what do I do now?

Don't worry. Exploring opportunities is part of your career growth, even when they don't work out. Ask for feedback from the hiring manager and the TA team. Talk with your manager about ways you can continue to develop in your current role.

  • Will my application be considered above external candidates?

It depends on the needs of the role. In some cases your knowledge of Logitech may provide an advantage. In every situation our goal is to hire the best person for the job, anything else would not do justice to your career aspirations or the company.

  • Can I apply for more than one role?

Yes. We encourage you to apply for all roles that fit your experience and qualifications.

  • How do I get feedback on my interviews?

You can reach out to the hiring manager, Talent Acquisition Partner or HRBP for feedback.

  • If I get the role, will I get a pay raise?

Generally, there is no salary increase for a move at the same level. Following a reasonable time in the new role, compensation may be adjusted to reflect achievements and competencies. Moving to a new location / country may require adjustment to fit the new location compensation, bonus and benefit packages, generally maintaining the same Position in Range.

  • I'm willing to move and interested in a role in a different location or country. Will I be considered?

In some cases, yes. Consideration is dependent upon the needs of role, your right to work in the new location and visa regulations. Relocation budgets vary and in some cases are not available. You may note in your application your right to work status in the new location and your willingness to relocate without budget.

  • I have more questions! What do I do?

Please reach out to us with any additional questions by emailing [email protected].
