Description
The right candidate must have excellent communication and multitasking skills, attention to detail and pride in their work. Must be able to show initiative, work fast, and maintain an exceptionally clean work environment. An NYC Food Handler's Protection course certificate and experience working with kids is a big plus. Experience in catering, restaurants and/or culinary school required. Competitive pay, 40 hours a week, holidays off, full benefits and 401k.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary School degree or 2-5 years of kitchen experience
- Catering experience a plus
- High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, and presentation
- NYS Food Handlers Certificate or ServSafe certified a plus
