About You and this Role

You are tasked in ensuring that our customer’s systems remain secure and stable with limited interruptions. Your responsibility is to secure, automate and troubleshoot deployments of our DXP software in various software architectures around the world. You enjoy learning new technologies and tools that can aid in improving how we deploy and manage our customer’s DXP installations. You have an eye on improving processes, deployments and find better ways to administrate systems. 

Key Objectives

  • Monitor and respond to incidents
  • Administers, monitors and improves software systems and the related infrastructure
  • Help drive improvements to system scripts, tools and processes
  • Systems management configuration, upgrades and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot networks, systems and applications to identify and solve issues
  • Monitor network and system resources to ensure availability and optimal performance
  • Manage software version deployments across Linux and Windows servers and various cloud installations
  • Maintain documentation of servers, security and deployments
  • Being on-call 25% of the time as a L2 escalation point
  • Automate deployment of DXP software in new environment
  • Set up networks and VM configurations
  • Review procedure execution from Jr. team members and giving feedback
  • Mentoring  associate team members



Required Qualifications and experience

  • Customer support experience dealing server software
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and complete assignments within deadlines
  • Enthusiastic and clear communicator
  • Proficient in Linux
  • General knowledge of infrastructure and application security best practices
  • Strong understanding of Windows, and Linux operating systems
  • Experience in deploying and managing software for end user workstations
  • Experience in monitoring and alert tools including Prometheus, Opsgenie, Elastic, and ELK
  • 3 year+ in IT Support or Systems Administration
  • Experience in Docker
  • Experience supporting remote users and data centers
  • Strong English communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
