Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday (6:30AM-3:15PM)

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Logistics Technician, you’ll play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position, you will provide general inventory services, including cycle counting, assistance with reconciling stock counts, inspecting shipments for accuracy and completeness, resolving inconsistencies, processing customer returns and processing sales orders. Perform quality inspection testing on all critical components / manufacturing materials. Provides routine support services for all local LifeNet facilities, including package deliveries, supplies & transport equipment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Inventory Processing: Verifies and inspects incoming materials against packing slips or purchase orders, ensuring conformity to purchase order specifications and accurate information is entered into the Inventory Database. Create sales orders from customer requests, verify items pulled prior to distribution within LifeNet facilities to ensure conformance to inventory procedures/ standards and mark all outgoing material with identifying information. Releases, Quarantines and discards all materials in accordance with quality inspection plans, regulatory guidelines and SOPs.
  • Documentation & Recordkeeping: Completes Receiving Inspection Reports (RIR) and other supporting documentation. Maintains records of component verification testing that includes the component identity and the testing methods that were used, as well as the actual test data and results, whether the items were accepted or rejected and disposition of non-conforming products.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Maintains inventory in an orderly and organized manner using stock rotation, storage and picking plans. Establishes and maintains control of holding, quarantine and storage areas to prevent mix-ups, damage, deterioration, or contamination of product/s pending use or distribution and ensures that no obsolete, rejected, or deteriorated product is used or distributed. Accurately inventory counts on all stocked warehouse items, assists in keeping inventory items at correct usage levels and reports shortages in a timely manner items.
  • General Support & Fulfillment: Performs general support activities such as moving equipment and furniture, shipping UPS packages and minor grounds inspections. Fulfills support requests upon receipt and ensures timely delivery of interdepartmental mail, personal packages, supplies and tissue shipments; including documentation of tracking and delivery.
  • Quality Control: Conducts quality inspections and/or schedules third party testing on all incoming critical components / manufacturing materials, to ensure that all are acceptable for their intended use and will perform their function reliably in their intended application.
  • Equipment Monitoring: Monitor’s all critical/controlled condition storage equipment to ensure they are within specification.
  • Supply & Equipment Transportation: Safely operated assigned trucks, vans, forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment for storage and transportation of supplies and equipment between all LifeNet facilities]

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid State Driver’s license and meets LifeNet Health’s minimum driving requirements for company related driving
  • Four (4) years’ experience in warehousing, storeroom, or inventory experience
  • One (1) year of quality control in receiving and inspection
  • One (1) year in inventory database experience
  • One (1) year of forklift operator experience

 

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Forklift certification

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization.
  • Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls.
  • Attention to detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery.
  • Proficient in MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite.
  • Quality Inspection: Ability to understand Quality Inspection plans

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $18.51 to $24.68 / hourly


Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $18.51 hourly (entry level qualifications) to $24.68 hourly
(experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
