How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:

The Life Sciences Account Executive is responsible for achieving sales targets of LifeNet Health LifeSciences human primary cells, cell models, biospecimens and services within a designated geography. This includes generating consistent sales volumes through customer adoption and building equity through driving outstanding customer relationships. The role also involves managing the customer pipeline to ensure stable, predictable revenue, manage customer churn and leveraging available resources to engage new clients and prospects and to help Life Sciences achieve revenue goals. As the Account Executive, you will develop, execute, and measure lead generation campaigns to drive qualified leads into the sales pipeline. The Account Executive will also focus on building customer insight, and align customer aims with our solutions thereby nurturing client relationships. This will require the Account Executive to and will utilize strategic knowledge of the preclinical discovery process, available research models such as Spheroids, and Consultative sales skills combined with in-depth knowledge of the LifeSciences product portfolio to drive business in critical areas such as Pharma/Biotech and AgriScience sectors. This role will require significant travel to customer sites, trade shows, and other customer facing events.

What you’ll do:

  • Sales Execution: Grows book of business through effective business development, competitive conversion, and effective selling and negotiations using various contractual options. Maintains and grows existing accounts through elevated customer engagement and contract renewals. Prepares technical presentations and business review presentations for existing customers and internal meetings. Develops and implements effective sales strategies and business plans to enhance revenue growth by leveraging existing contracts and identifying significant opportunities. Meets sales targets and goals within the assigned territory. Collaborates with colleagues, R&D, Marketing and LifeSciences leadership to formulate and execute campaigns to drive leads through the sales pipeline. Attend global or local sales meetings and training courses as required.

 

  • Customer Engagement: Establishes strong relationships with existing and potential customers as well as key opinion leaders. Partners with marketing to actively engage with customers to gather Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights to solve their challenges and enhance customer satisfaction. Assists with lot selection, discovery research goals, and cell models. Leads internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction by training them to handle customer inquiries, technical questions, and issues. Collaborates with the customer experience department to manage quotes, purchase orders, and invoices. Works internally to ensure the right products are shipped to customers on a timely basis and in the amount required. This role requires the ability to solve customer challenges and align internal resources to meet customer needs

 

  • Pipeline Management: Engages in prospecting activities to generate and qualify leads through diverse channels such as marketing campaigns, networking, and referrals, segmenting them and monitoring progress within the CRM system. Enhance conversion rates by executing the Sales Call to Action (CTA) through pre- and post-webinar follow-ups, new product launches, customer training, and insights gathering. Maintain a pipeline 3 times the target value.

 

  • Metrics & Reporting: Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) through a CRM system to ensure precise and actionable insights. Employs data analytics to identify leading indicators, predict sales, and monitor market trends to foster growth and maximize profit margins.

 

  • Continuous Improvement: Spearheads continuous improvement efforts to optimize the performance of sales platforms and processes. Completion of all mandatory compliance, product, sales, or other company training.

 

What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelor’s degree Business, Marketing or related field
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 5 Years Sales experience in the Preclinical Discovery Research

                                                   component of the Life Sciences Industry

Preferred/Skills/Certification:

  • 2 years Sales experience with primary human hepatocytes preferred
  • 2 years sales experience with biospecimens for research
  • 2 years sales experience in cell models and services or toxicology related products

 

How you will contribute (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

  • Knowledge of LifeSciences research and Development: Understanding of cell related products and reagents. (understanding of primary human cells in particular Hepatocytes)
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls
  • Attention to Detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery
  • Business Acumen: Ability to work independently. Has working knowledge of drug development, pharmaceutical and agrochemical industry and ability to communicate this to others
  • Customer Centric: Centers themselves around process and customer management that aligns with a developed strategy for working with customers
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with using computer programs and electronic documents. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Analytic Skills: Ability to identify sales opportunities/trends from research analytics and metrics; ability to generate metrics and reporting for sales operations.

Salary: $109,033 - $145,377 / annually

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate’s qualifications including prior relevant experience. Ranging from $109,033 annually (entry-level qualifications) to $145,377 annually (experienced in this role).

*Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.

*This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on certain criteria being met.
