How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:

As a Production Records Quality Specialist, you will provide support to the post-processing operations to ensure accurate production records, product labels and quality verification are completed in a timely manner. You will perform data entry of donor and production related information, and clerical tasks related to donor chart documents and information. Additionally, you will perform inventory, transfer and processing of tissue as needed.

Important: You will be required to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift; as well as wear personal protective equipment to include: surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles and caps.

This role is critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it is an important step in taking the donor’s gifts and transitioning them to the lifesaving and health restoring allografts for patients around the globe.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform review of documents, fata entry filing, and retrieval of production records/information into systems. Compile, prepare and copy appropriate donor related documents along with appropriate laboratory results.
  • Transfer and manage the movement of all tissue grafts and samples, including pathology requests.
  • Assist with Quality Verification of processed tissue and ensure accuracy of all regulated documents (e.g. clean room logs). 
  • Perform activities associated with equipment management (in coordination with the equipment maintenance team) including verification of equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Facilitates improved overall quality, education and completeness and accuracy of record documentation through communication with both internal and external customers.
  • Perform processing/production related or freeze-drying activities as needed.

What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of work experience with reviewing records or performing data entry in a tissue bank, medical device, healthcare related industry, or within an office environment
  • Minimum one (1) year of work experience of tissue processing or related experience.

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Associate’s degree in business administration, Life Science, Healthcare Administration or related from an accredited college or university
  • Two (2) years’ experience reviewing records or performing data entry in a tissue banking, medical device, or healthcare-related industry, or in an office environment
  • One (1) year Material Requirement Planning (MRP) Systems Experience (SAP)

  • Teamwork: Able to work collaboratively with team members across multiple departments
  • Knowledge of specific grafts: Signed off on ability to make designated grafts
  • Knowledge of equipment used in processing: Ability to use surgical instrumentation and operate processing equipment (e.g., Exurco, Skiver, 40-ton press, cryopreservation units and shippers, LN2 freezers, heat sealers, pumps)

Salary: $18.51-$24.68/hour

*The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate’s qualifications including prior relevant experience.  The pay range for this position is $18.51/hourly (entry-level qualifications) to $24.68/hourly (experienced in this role).

*Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.

*This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on certain criteria being met.
