How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:

The Digital Content Specialist leads the development and execution of LifeNet Health’s content strategy across various platforms and is responsible for creating, curating, and managing compelling and informative content. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding. The Digital Content Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping our brand narrative and driving engagement with our target audience.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Content Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with LifeNet Health's brand identity, marketing objectives, and target audience.

  • Content Management: Create, edit, and manage engaging and high-quality content, including articles, blog posts, press releases, copywriting, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, videos, scripts and more.

  • Content Optimization: Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, researchers, and medical professionals to ensure the accuracy and relevance of content. Manage content creation from ideation to publication, adhering to editorial calendars and deadlines. Optimize content for SEO, ensuring that all content is discoverable and drives organic traffic to our digital platforms. Monitor industry trends, healthcare advancements, and emerging technologies to incorporate timely and relevant topics into content.

  • Content Review: Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and style consistency. Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and messaging. Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create visually appealing content that resonates with the target audience. Analyze content performance using relevant metrics and insights to continuously refine the content strategy. Stay up to date with content marketing best practices and evolving digital platforms.

 

What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • THREE (3) years of experience in content creation, journalism and/or management.

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field)
  • THREE (3) years of related experience in content creation, journalism and/or management within the healthcare, medical, or life sciences sector.
  • Keyword research skills and use of comparative SEO research tools, like AHREFS and SEMRush also preferred.

  • Content Skillset: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail. Demonstrated ability to develop clear, compelling, and informative content across various formats.
  • Creative Storytelling: Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, designers, and marketers.
  • Tech/Digital Skills: Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimization. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platform.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization.
  • Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload.
  • Attention to Detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate's qualifications and prior relevant experience.  The pay range for this position is $56,238 annually (entry-level qualifications) to $74,984 annually (experienced in this role). *
*Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience.
This position is eligible for an annual bonus once eligible criteria are met.
