Lead Software Engineer
We are looking for an innovative Lead Software Engineer ready to push boundaries, embrace new technologies, and make a lasting impact. As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll able to put your academic knowledge into experience by developing and executing software engineering activities. You will focus on Agile Scrum methodologies; you'll apply object-oriented thinking, software engineering best practices, and design patterns to deliver exceptional results.

This role will allow you to work on a product that thousands of customers use globally. As a hands-on technical problem solver and innovator, you'll lead end-to-end software development activities, collaborating with a talented team to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge solutions. With a focus on Agile Scrum methodologies, you'll apply object-oriented thinking, software engineering best practices, and design patterns to deliver exceptional results. You will collaborate closely with product management teams and management to deliver a unique product that powers our customer's success.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology in Computer Science/IT from a recognized University.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in full-stack development.
- This role requires to work from the office for three days each week.
- Must-Have: Agile Scrum methodology, OOPS, C# and .NET, Design Patterns & Architecture, Microservices, MVC based applications, Unit Testing, Data structure and algorithm, Bootstrap and Responsive Design, REST APIs, HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, jQuery, SQL Server/Oracle/Postgres, Web Servers, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Bitbucket/GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Cloud Services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Nice to Have: ReactJS/NodeJS/Angular, Redis Cache, Octopus, ELK, VM/Containerized environment(docker/other), Kubernetes, Distributed Systems.
- Hands-on technical professional responsible for designing, developing, and executing software engineering activities to ensure applications meet IT standards for quality, reliability, security, performance, and architecture requirements.
- Able to design and develop a customized framework based on product requirements.
- Able to design and develop in C#, ASP.NET/ MVC/ .NET Core.
- Work closely with architects, software test engineers, and product managers to lead teams through task management and by example in all phases of the project life cycle.
- Have experience in developing scalable and performant solutions.
- Possesses depth and breadth of knowledge of both front-end and back-end tech stacks.
- Owns product release, which includes helping release developers.
- Profile code and database to measure and improve application performance.
- Research new technologies and incorporate them into our applications.
- Proficient at incorporating feedback into their overall process regarding LeadVenture build standards.
- Ensure that your deliverables are of very high quality and meet deadlines.
- Stay current with new technologies and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to work directly with overseas colleagues and stakeholders. Prior experience of working with international colleagues or customers is a strong plus.
- Strong English spoken and written skills.
- Experience working in a software product development company is a strong plus.
- Flexible as per work demands, including working schedules that involve meetings with overseas colleagues in the evenings/night or early in the morning. Being available on-call as per the team’s on-call roster to address any issues that may arise outside of regular day work hours, including weekends and holidays.
