Laserfiche is hiring a team-oriented Senior Credit Risk Analyst. This individual works closely with the Director of Credit and assists with all areas of the day-to-day functions within the credit and receivables department, as needed.

Location:                           

  • Three days/week work from office – Long Beach
  • Work from home on Mondays and Fridays

About Role - Essential Functions:

  • Assess creditworthiness of existing and prospective Solution Providers and Direct customers
  • Examine, analyze, and review financial transactions, credit history (applications, financial statements, legal documents etc.)
  • Adhere to written policy documentation related to the credit and customer setup process.
  • Make informed credit decisions within assigned authority, based on analysis and credit risk assessments.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Contact banks, trade reporting agencies, trade credit references, salespeople and others to obtain necessary credit information.
  • Maintain adequate electronic credit files in accordance with company policy.
  • Resolve credit and collections issues as needed with customers while collaborating with other departments.
  • Review and release of held orders pending credit decisions as appropriate.
  • Ensure all reporting tasks are completed timely.
  • Maintain collections for both SP and Direct customers, to include generating collection notices and follow-up communications.
  • Report generation and analysis, as needed.
  • Engage with customers, salespeople, and other teams on aged accounts to facilitate payment within terms.
  • Process payments and other cash receipts as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You - Essential Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including GAAP processes related to credit analysis and accounts receivable, and understanding of basic accounting rules and regulations and the policies and procedures of the finance department.
  • Concentration in credit analysis, A/R and collection experience desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to work effectively across all departments and with customers.
  • Analytical skills and excellent problem-solving skills a must
  • Must be detail oriented with ability to prioritize and organize efficiently.
  • Understanding of accounting software basics, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically, Excel, required; QuickBooks experience preferred.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields
  • At least three years of credit analysis and accounting experience
  • Strong proficiency in MS office and general computer use
  • Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with varying degrees of supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data.
  • Impeccable understanding of financial statements, ratios, and concepts.
  • SaaS experience preferred.

 

The salary range varies, and pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, certifications (if applicable), candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and years of experience among other factors.           

                     

  • Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
