Accounting Intern Opportunity at the Kittle Property Group Corporate Office (Winter/Spring 2026)
Kittle Property Group is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team at the Corporate Office in Indianapolis! This is a great opportunity to gain additional experience in Accounting within the Property Management/Real Estate industry.
*Work Schedule: Full Time (preferred) or Part Time, depending on availability.
Pay: $15 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for providing accurate and timely financial information to both internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare quarterly bank reconciliations
• Record cash receipts in accounting software
• Running reports from accounting software
• Uploading documents to our database
• Filing
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma required, college degree optional.
• Pursuing a degree in accounting and/or finance preferred, but not required
• A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
• Organized, attentive to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and the status.
• Experience in real estate/property management preferred, but not required
• Knowledge with computers and ability to learn our accounting software.
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
• Proactive and independent approach to research and problem solving
• Language Skills - Ability to read, write, interpret and analyze business publications, technical procedures and government regulations. Ability to write and interpret reports, correspondence and manuals. Ability to effectively present to groups of people including employees, vendors and the general public.
• Math Skills - Ability to work with concepts such as probability, statistical inference and fundamentals of geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to situations.
• Reasoning Skills - Ability to solve problems and work with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only general guidelines exist. Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Computer Skills - Intermediate experience with MS Office and accounting software.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
• Ongoing professional development.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Rarely must stand, reach with hands/arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Occasionally must use hands to finger/handle/feel.
• Regularly must sit, talk and hear.
• Close vision is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Normally works in an environment with moderate noise.
