Senior Project Manager-Organizational Change Management Specialist
KAI Partners, Inc is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager focusing on Organizational Change Management to support our clients remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Lead small to medium-scale organizational change initiatives strategizing with executive leadership and project teams to deliver business outcomes.
- Develop, own, manage, and operationalize OCM strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, communications, resistance management, change impact and readiness plans, and training.
- Design, develop, and implement communication campaigns to prepare staff for changes and develop a change-ready culture to maximize employee adoption and utilization.
- Prepare, lead, and/or facilitate meetings with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Implement collaborative tactics for continuous improvement of OCM strategies including working with existing project teams and other stakeholders or consultants.
- Support KAIP organizational change management and project management procurement pursuits by providing subject matter expertise input, written responses, and quality reviews.
- Review and report on the consistency of system development using work plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, staffing plans, and resource utilization.
- Produce related status reports and metrics using client-approved project management office tools and procedures.
- Build and maintain project schedules, integrating with related schedules, and other program management activities.
- Monitor client resource allocation and utilization to make recommendations for pre-emptive and corrective actions.
- Monitor, evaluate, coach, and participate in issue and risk management activities including risk identification, mitigation, resolution, and contingency planning.
- Identify needs that clients may not recognize, and ensuing approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.
- Continuously manage client expectations, ensuring delivery of the highest quality service, while soliciting and acting on client feedback.
- Assumes other duties, as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to perform task management.
- Ability to implement and implement communication strategies.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Ability to use business process improvement (BPI) and some knowledge of the vocabulary (methods, tools) of BPI without necessarily having extensive experience.
- Ability to manage and/or lead projects with a variety of stakeholders and multiple project dependencies.
- Ability to communicate, problem-solve and identify the root cause.
- Needs to be a self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills.
Work/Education Experience:
- Five years of experience with Organizational Change Management, Communications, Client centric service/client relationship management.
- Experience in higher education or administration of publicly funded grants.
- Bachelor’s Degree. (Preferred)
- Prosci Certification. (Preferred)
- PMP Certification. (Preferred)
- Experience with grant programs, as a grantee or program administrator. (Preferred)
- Experience with higher ed data sources, metrics, or reporting. (Preferred)
- Experience with Career and Technical Education programs (Preferred)
Compensation Range: $115,000-$149,000
The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range. In addition, eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
