Enterprise Architect

KAI Partners, Inc. is currently seeking an Enterprise Architect (EA) to evaluate, plan, execute, and continuously improve the educational technology system-wide architecture strategy to enable the client to realize its strategic plan and vision while having the flexibility to respond to future market and technological disruptions in the higher education space.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analyses of the architecture portfolio's current state.
  • Map information technology (IT) assets and business processes to EA governance principles.
  • Recommend policy changes and project work to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Develop blueprints to optimize the alignment of IT resources and assets to large enterprises.
  • Development and architecture of strategies and design solutions that can scale across multiple domains for our large state healthcare client.
  • Creation of an end-to-end enterprise architecture strategy to include business, infrastructure, information, and application architectures.
  • Define and document a unified EA framework and standards for client adoption.
  • Develop and execution of an EA organizational change management plan, which may include developing training materials, communications, and an implementation plan.
  • Develop a high-level EA roadmap and budget to implement at scale.
  • Promote alignment, standardization, reuse of existing IT assets, and sharing common methods for EA, agile software development, and quality assurance across the portfolio and ecosystem to increase efficiency, responsiveness, and quality solution delivery.
  • Evaluation of architecture toolsets and current and prospective technology vendors.
  • Develop and implement a continuous improvement process for the EA program.
  • Evaluate standards and provide ongoing coaching to improve the performance of the EA discipline.
  • Design and develop enterprise-level database solutions with extensive data modeling techniques. 
  • Understand designing and developing data warehouses and technics using data engineering and analytics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work/Education Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or other related degrees.
  • Five (5) years of experience performing Enterprise Architecture.
  • Three (3) years of experience leading/facilitating a team.
  • Five (5) years of experience working in information technology.
  • EA certification. (Preferred)
  • IT certification(s), ITIL. (Preferred)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. (Preferred)
  • Higher Education experience. (Preferred)
  • Educational technology experience. (Preferred)

Compensation Range: $102,000 - $147,000

The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range. In addition, eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
