Base Vice President
Description
Summary:
The Base Vice President will provide administrative and personnel management (direct and indirect) to Base personnel to enhance the overall function of the Base. They will manage and direct the activities & functions of the Base to achieve Base goals & strategic initiatives, while ensuring the highest level of safety & service is provided for all Aircraft Owners & Members.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Promptly resolve all service issues with both a sense of urgency and frequent communication with impacted client(s).
- Comply with established Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star service and training including beverage and food service to clients at facility.
- Regularly interact with clients and use client feedback to constantly develop and improve capabilities and processes resulting in a Five-Star client experience.
- Maintain relationships with the Aircraft Owners of the Base fleet; communicate and coordinate on all revenue opportunities when needed.
- Investigate and resolve all Operational Service Alerts (OSAs) related to Base Members and Owners; work with Base and National Operations Center (NOC) on any identified Process Improvement(s).
- Focus on Jet Card hours to budget and Inactive Jet Card clients to ensure client base stays active and engaged.
- Serve as direct leader of concierge at Base location and collaborate with VP of Client Experience with goal of delivering Five-Star service.
- Perform leadership functions such as conducting annual reviews, assisting in hiring decisions, managing performance of direct reports, mentoring and skill development.
- Facilitate training, coaching, and counseling to improve work performance and maximize team member potential.
- Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained based on 24/7/365 service; including on-call rotation and meet and greets for all Owner/Member departures and arrivals.
- Establish and maintain a culture that promotes client loyalty by creating an environment of increased team member engagement.
- Assist Regional Base President as needed with business development, P&L review, and Base strategic plan.
- Oversee approvals of trip concessions.
- Ensure compliance with NOC fiscal policies and directives including monthly review and approval of expenses; timely, accurate customer invoicing; and collection of accounts receivable.
- Through collaboration with NOC, plan and coordinate meetings, events, conferences as needed onsite or offsite in local city.
- Monitor/achieve monthly performance metrics and all service level expectations per company KPIs.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and upholding Company policies & procedures.
- Perform facility management as needed and act as company liaison in matters related to the airport community.

Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- 5+ years management experience required
- P&L management and budgeting experience required
- 5+ years of aviation concierge service experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Majority of work is completed in a normal office work environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Able to complete physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing to perform daily work functions
- Must be able to move up to 25 pounds on an infrequent basis
- Travel as needed
