Contract - Air Host(ess) 
   
Summary:    
The Air Host or Hostess will provide all cabin service duties meeting the needs of passengers and crew, except for safety sensitive functions.    
    
  1. Duties & Responsibilities:  
  2. Provide passenger service as requested, directed, or needed by the passengers including ordering, preparing and serving all food and refreshments.  
  3. Assist qualified crewmembers in the stowage of passenger baggage.  
  4. Assist qualified crewmembers in boarding and seating passengers.  
  5. Assist the flight crew, as directed.  
  6. Occupy the cockpit Jump Seat or a passenger seat for takeoff and landing, as briefed by the PIC.  
  7. Other duties as assigned  
  Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:    
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of team  
  • CPR/First Aid/AED trained and certified  
  • Ability to remain professional in all situations and with all personality types  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the company and its customers'
  • Ability to remain calm in emergency situations  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills  
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information  
  • Ability to work with frequent changes in procedures, directions, and schedules  
  • Ability to work flexible, non-standard hours  
  Education and Work Experience:    
  • Minimum 2-year college degree desired  
  • Minimum 2 years previous customer service experience  
  • Fluency in multiple languages desired  
  • Completed Hazardous Material training and TSA 12-5 Security Program  
  • Completed Asset Training (12-months) for each aircraft to include: Operation of the aircraft’s cabin systems; location, operations and use of all aircraft emergency equipment; and recognizing and reporting aircraft surface contamination.  
  Physical Requirements:    
  • Occasional lifting of weights up to 30-40 pounds  
  • Able to function in changing environmental conditions  
  • Able to complete physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing to perform daily work functions
