Engineer 2- Stores

The Engineer 2 will be part of Stores team where you will leverage your technical skills and business acumen to achieve the organization and team goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be driven to succeed & be self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision or handholding.
• Collaborate with product managers/business , designers, and other developers to understand the requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Designing , Developing, and maintaining android applications , ensuring they are functional , user friendly and meets the specified requirements.
• Coding , Debugging , testing, and collaborating with other team members to deliver high quality mobile experiences.
• Implementing back-end services and APIs to support Mobile applications including database design , server-side logic and integration with third-party services.
• Staying updated on android development trends and best practices.
• Providing Technical guidance and support to junior developers , assisting with code reviews, fostering a culture of collaboration, and learning within the team.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

• Front End Development
  • • Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming language.
    • Deep understanding of android software development kit (SDK) including APIs , libraries, and tools.
    • Proficiency in using android studio for development environment for application development.
    • Ability to develop responsive and adaptive user interfaces that works work seamlessly across various screen sizes and orientations.
• Back End Development
  • • Proficiency in at at-least one back-end programming language such as Java , Node.js , Python.
    • Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between android app and server-side components.
    • Understanding of Web service architectures and protocols.
    • Knowledge of relational database and/or NoSQL databases.
    • Experience in implementing user authentication , authorization and session management using OAuth , JWT or session tokens.
    • Experience in C# .net and spring boot java API is a plus.
• Version Control and Devops
  • • Proficiency in using GIT for version control.
    • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools e.g., JENKINS
