The JCPenney Services India office opened in 2016 and is an extension of the JCPenney office in the US. With over 700 employees, the center provides critical functions including technology, e-commerce operations, retail operations, merchandising, and other capabilities. The JCPSI center is not only an alternative location but critical to JCPenney’s long term strategy.

Critical Primary Responsibilities:

  • 3- 5 year of experience.
  • Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns, protocols and standards like REST,SOAP, JSON,XML and message queuing systems
  • Experience in designing and implementing real time integration solutions using Apache Kafka.
  • Proficiency in Kafka APIs and concepts, including producers, consumers, brokers, topics, partitions, and offsets.
  • Experience with Kafka Streams and KSQL for real-time data processing.
  • Knowledge of Kafka Connect for data integration with external systems.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language and hands-on experience in developing microservices using spring boot.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Confluent Control Center, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in Kafka-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
