Associate Consultant
Our Associate Consultants embark on a professional journey where they can develop their leadership, consulting, and project management skills. Our Associate Consultants play an active role in supporting senior team members in project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and analysis, or tackle less complex projects independently. This position sets the foundation for upward mobility within IPM, positioning our Associate Consultants for success.



Consultant
Our Consultants take the lead on projects and provide strategic insights while fostering positive and meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues. Collaboration skills in this position are crucial for success when delivering on clients' critical initiatives. Our Consultants have proven project management experience and strong leadership and communication skills.



Senior Consultant
Our Senior Consultants are considered experts in project management and achieve success by applying strategic approaches, critical thinking, and leadership on the projects they manage. Our Senior Consultants use their years of experience to lead diverse projects, navigate ambiguity, and guide teams towards clear objectives. Our Senior Consultants have the opportunity to support and participate in IPM's knowledge-sharing forums, including Centers of Excellence and mentorship programs. Through their exemplary leadership and strong communication skills, they will inspire and unify teams and colleagues through collaboration.



Principal Consultant
The Principal Consultant (PC) serves as a catalyst for IPM's growth through their expertise, experience, and ability to develop those around them. The Principal Consultant’s role includes client support, IPM employee development and mentorship, internal strategic support, and engagement in growing the business. The Principal Consultant shares insights, both internally and externally, about IPM’s target industries, service lines and methodologies. The PC supports collaboration across all aspects of IPM’s business model and plays an essential role in the ongoing evolution of IPM. This role requires at least 3 years as a Senior Consultant at IPM.



Director
Directors serve as collaborators and supporters to the consultants that report to them, providing guidance on overall project strategies and addressing issues that may arise. Directors are accountable for ensuring IPM's work standards are not only met but exceeded, while championing the professional development of consultants. They also develop strong relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction, as well as promote potential new business opportunities. Our Directors embody our core values, lead with integrity, fortify team spirit, and help shape IPM's distinct cultural framework. We exclusively promote from within IPM for this position.

Senior Director
The Senior Director plays a critical role in building and leading the execution of regional office operating plans or service line growth plans. They collaborate with members of senior management, industry leads, and service line leaders to craft strategies to optimize growth. The Senior Director is proficient in strategy development and holds the responsibility of cultivating client proposal strategy capabilities. Furthermore, they are a trusted partner to our clients, developing unique approaches to addressing their needs, building lasting relationships, ensuring expectations are exceeded, and reaching higher in the client organization to unlock additional opportunities. Prioritizing the professional development and career advancement of their direct reports is also a critical aspect of this role. Similar to the Director position, this opportunity is exclusively promoted from within the organization.



Managing Director
Our Managing Directors lead IPM regional offices or industry or service lines and hold a pivotal position in establishing and achieving annual objectives, managing profits and losses (P&L), formulating operating plans, nurturing the growth of our directors and senior directors, and strengthening IPM's culture. This role collaborates on efforts for operations, marketing, industry, service line, and business development to accelerate business growth, while assuring compliance with IPM's high quality standards. This opportunity is exclusively promoted from within the organization.
