 The Regional Product Manager will support InVue’s global growth strategy by: successfully launching new InVue LIVE (IoT) products with fast market penetrations, leading the software attachment strategy/execution for IoT products (partnering with Sales), support with development of new solutions or modify existing solutions to meet customer needs, gathering the voice-of-the-market, being the regional expert on InVue IoT products (including customer and Sales education), and mapping the competitive landscape.  In order to fulfil these tasks, this individual closely interacts with the North American Sales Team, Customer Service, Operations, and Category Management teams.  Travel through the US and Canada will be required to ensure InVue is exceeding our customers’ overall expectations.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support achieving aggressive InVue growth goals through developing and owning regional go-to-market IoT product growth plans
  • Drive fast adoption of newly launched products by leading our regional Early Adopter program
  • Work closely with the Charlotte HQ and the Sales team to win strategic customers; focused on ensuring software is attached to hardware sales
  • Be the NA portfolio technical expert on InVue solutions – both hardware and software
  • Understand territory market dynamics and market voice to bring product improvement and new product recommendations to the HQ team
  • Share new product concepts with customers for validation or comment
  • Prepare/present market analysis for new product development or market size estimations
  • Support our channels by engaging with HQ on product modifications to meet specific customer application requests
  • Support physically installing early customer sites with new InVue solutions
  • Proactively manage and coordinate getting customer testimonials, and making sure these are properly utilized to develop additional business
  • Train the US/Can Sales team and keep Customer Service team trained at ‘super-user’ level
  • Research and understand our competitors’ sales strategies, product and marketing initiatives, and be able to communicate our advantages to enable Sales
  • Deliver professional and persuasive customer presentations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience commercializing IoT solutions
  • Experience gaining fast adoption of new products, and new product categories, within existing and new customer accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate customer needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends and competitive threats within a market
  • 8-10 years’ experience in a B2B product marketing role; Sales experience a plus
  • Strong business acumen to do thorough market research and develop actionable plans
  • Confident in customer meetings; excellent customer presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and driven personality
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and execute plans to achieve specific goals
  • Works well under pressure
  • Able to travel up to 50% of your time throughout NA
  • Based in Charlotte, NC
  • Business or engineering degree
  • Excellent English written and verbal language skills are required; Spanish/French a plus
  • Strong skills in using PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office platforms
