Software Engineer IV

LeadVenture websites are custom-designed and packed with the features dealers and OEMs need, allowing them to drive more qualified leads. Our industry-leading platform drives increased traffic to websites and ensures that customers have a positive user experience regardless of device. 

In this role, you will develop high-quality software for LeadVenture as an active and collaborative member of a distributed software development team.

Here is more of what you’ll get to do:

  • Develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for complex, large-scale software
  • Serve as technical expert on any development project 
  • Lead full development life cycle including requirements gathering, analysis and design
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
  • Proactively identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
  • Troubleshoot code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
  • Be an active participant in Agile meetings
  • Collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews
  • Provide leadership and guidance to newer, less-experienced team members
  • Participate in software production deployments
  • Help ensure 24/7 uptime of production environment

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • 10+ year of experience in software development
  • Foundational knowledge of Object-Oriented Design Principles and Design Patterns with experience in microservices, containers and cloud-based platforms
  • Lead team in best practices for the full Software Development Lifecycle in an agile environment including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Innate desire to keep up to date on technical trends and emerging technology
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and work collaboratively with global teams
  • Strong understanding of the .NET framework as well as .NET Core
  • SQL and other relational databases (SQL Server 2005/2008/R2, Oracle, MySql)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Octopus Deploy
  • Atlassian products
