The IDEA Working Group at Insurity aims to foster a work environment where everyone can thrive, no matter their background or circumstance. We shine a light on our company’s imbalances, embrace uncomfortable conversations openly, seek to educate, and challenge pre-set notions and ideas. Through our corporate culture, policies, and practices, we drive initiatives that ensure all employees have the opportunity to contribute, grow, and succeed.

IDEA’s focus
  • Leveraging IDEA’s sub-committees to bring DEI to our efforts in Recruitment, Education & Training, Service in our Communities, and Communication
  • Broadening our search for great talent by expanding the job boards we use and using more inclusive language in our postings
  • Creating space for the DEI conversation by keeping our communications frequent, engaging, and informative
  • Raising awareness of our own biases by mandating training for all team members

Community Engagement

Insurity’s Virgin Pulse Go Challenge - We stepped it up for charity! Insurity steps it up for charity through ourEvery mile walked is worth 10 cents with a goal to walk 100,000 miles with a total charitable donation of $10,000. We stepped up for Feeding America and Moisson Montréal.

With 52 teams and 283 players, we walked, ran, pedaled, and did a myriad of other physical activity to make our way from destination to destination across the globe, cheering each other on every step of the way.
