Imperva is looking for a stellar Automation Engineer to join our team!
At Imperva, Test Engineering goes beyond testing, the teams engage in every phase of the software development life cycle, advocate for the customer and have the skills to implement effective test strategies and E2E automation solutions. Test Engineers collaborate with Dev, PM, and cross-functional teams.

Our product identifies dangerous data access activity that exposes sensitive customers' data to breach risk. We are looking for a senior automation engineer for our team, work is 75% automation and 25% manual tests.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of experience in OO development, preferably Java 
  • Experience in Automation development
  • End-to-end test development
  • Experience with ramping up an automation infrastructure from scratch
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Solid understanding of Cloud technologies -AWS, Azure
  • Experience in manual testing – advantage
  • Experience working with DB, writing SQL queries, and/or NoSQL DBs – advantage
  • Security knowledge - advantage
  • Great team player
  • Highly self-motivated person, fast learner and independent
  • “Can do” attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Quickly grasp and understand complex systems, providing innovative solutions to challenging problems 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features  
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance your skills and contribute to the team’s success.
  • Plan, design, develop and execute Java-based automation tests for functional, acceptance, system, performance and penetration testing of our
  •   Adapt existing Continuous Integration infrastructure to a team’s practice
  • Write, maintain, and improve automation tests for frontend, backend, and API’s
  • Collaborate with team members to enable continuous testing and delivery
