Regional Content Coach
Role: The content coach will work collaboratively with national and regional staff to design and deliver effective content training, conduct classroom observations, and analyze data to identify areas of improvement. The Regional content Coach will expand the knowledge, skills and toolkits of all campus leaders to ensure all classrooms are optimum to engage all students in the learning.
Location:
This is a full-time onsite position located in San Antonio. Preference will be given to candidates who live in the region, or who are willing to relocate.
Travel Expectation: Up to 40% of the time during the busiest parts of the year and potentially 80% of the time within region.
Essential Duties:
- Design and/or internalize and customize content specific professional development. Facilitate effective professional development on the implementation of evidence-based content specific pedagogical approaches.
- Collaborate with C&I Coaches and the Academic Services Team to develop and implement effective content instruction for students.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers and leaders to ensure fidelity of implementation of content instruction.
- Conduct regular classroom observations to identify areas of strength and growth in content instruction.
- Integrate data across contexts to accurately identify root causes of gaps in student learning and prescribe school or region-level solutions.
- Collaborate with campus and regional leadership to develop and implement content specific improvement plans based on data analysis.
- Communicate regularly with regional leaders about student progress and instructional initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest research and trends in content instruction.
Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
- Valid teaching certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
- Experience as a content coach, instructional coach, or schools leader preferred.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based content practices and instructional strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate effective professional development sessions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience working with data to inform instructional decisions.
- Knowledge of current literacy trends and research.
- Ability to impact student outcomes at scale through influence.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $74,700 and $87,100, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for performance pay based on organizational performance and goal attainment.
