Special Markets Sales Assistant
Description
- Manage day‑to‑day inquiries from new customers (account set-up and introduction to our imprints and lists).
- Process orders and provide exceptional service to new and existing customers.
- Coordinate with internal teams—including Inventory, Finance, and Customer Service—to ensure accurate fulfillment and on‑time delivery.
- Prepare daily/monthly sales summaries and track sales data for imprints.
- Gather and enter first-print estimates for upcoming titles.
- Coordinate samples, sell sheets, and customized materials for sales presentations and account support.
- Conduct industry research to build lead lists and help identify new growth opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year of office experience.
- Collaborative team player with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills—this role requires extensive customer interaction and cross‑department collaboration.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines with consistent follow‑through.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with InDesign or Canva is a plus.

The compensation range for this position is $50,000. Salary can vary based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and location — talk with your recruiter to learn more. There may be times that you will be required (or requested) to work overtime due to the nature of your role or exceptional workload issues or special projects.
