We are currently recruiting for this position, which offers a salary range of $135,000 to $170,000.
This position qualifies for participation in our annual employee bonus program.

Who you are:
What you will do:
As a Data Science Director, you will design, develop, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms using Microsoft Azure ML, Python, and other relevant tools.
Here are a few more details about the role (other duties may be assigned):
Leverage Microsoft Fabric for unified data analytics, including integration with Power BI, Azure Synapse, OneLake, and external datasets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into analytical solutions. Must be able to deliver solutions to production.
Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
Visualize data insights using dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
Provide technical direction and best practices for modeling, data engineering, and analytics
Establish good data management practices including data governance and MDM.
Establish standards for data quality, model validation, predictive and prescriptive analytics
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics.
Supervisory responsibilities: while this position may not initially have supervisory responsibilities, this role is expected to provide technical leadership in the area of data science and data analytics. This person is also be expected to collaborate across GS1 US and lead cross-functional teams as needed.
