Role Summary & Impact    
     
We are seeking a Manager, SEO to join our Organic Search team to work closely with Supervisors and Directors to contribute to the daily strategy, recommendations, and execution of SEO across a variety of Google products and services in the US and in coordination with global team members in EMEA and APAC. The Manager must be beyond the initial steppingstones of understanding the fundamentals of SEO. In this role, you will have increased responsibility and accountability for SEO strategy and execution as well as gaining further exposure to client-facing opportunities.          
        
Key Responsibilities        
  • Gain deep understanding of Google’s products and services and how SEO will contribute to their marketing goals and objectives.
  • Assist with market research to be used for optimization of different forms of content following best practices.
  • Contribute to a strategy and deliverables plan that meets or exceeds client expectations including:
    • Keyword strategies to target key audiences.
    • Detailed content optimization recommendations of key elements of a website, including but not limited to Metadata, h1 tags, URLs, image alt attributes, etc.
    • Website audits and technical recommendations with implementation QA
    • Review and analyze competitor sites and understand their organic search approach.
    • Client reports and performance analyses as part of monthly, quarterly, or annual business reviews.
  • Attend client and agency meetings to present deliverables, strategies, and tactics.
  • Contribute to case studies and/or industry POVs throughout the year.
  • Stay current with industry trends, and best practices.
Requirements        
  • A degree in a related field (such as Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or Communications)
  • A minimum of 2-3 year of experience in organic search/search engine optimization/SEO
  • Previous experience in an agency environment highly desired
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and familiarity with industry tools including Google Analytics, Search Console, Keyword Planner, Lumar and/or ScreamingFrog.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace products (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
