Director of Social Platforms

The Director of Social Platforms role is a business critical role that supports the health of the practices by managing the emerging platform space for agency teams from complex activations, to operations requirements, to troubleshooting the user interface.  The ideal candidate will have a direct knowledge of paid social activation within the biddable realm, including but not limited to Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Recent and relevant experience directly managing paid social campaigns, as well as building and overseeing enterprise operational structures within large media agencies, is a mandate for consideration. Additionally:

  • Lead social platform health by driving better efficiencies through training and fixing executional issues through collaboration with agency teams and platforms
  • Continuously evolve platform best practices for campaign structures, implementing measurement solutions, and quality assurance guardrails
  • Identify and resolve complex, cross-functional operational issues, often unique in nature
  • Work with and support requests from audit and operations teams that include performing risk management tests and automating compliance reviews
  • Motivate and inform large teams for adherence to process and best practices
  • Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions
  • Support teams with technical setup and learning agendas around innovation opportunities, alphas and betas

This role will also require cross functional adaptivity where deciphering direction around social activation for agency teams through legal, compliance, finance, HR, and operational lens. This role reports directly into the Global Head of Social.


  • 5+ years direct experience working in biddable platforms UIs and specifically creating campaigns and executing them in auction-based environments (business managers, ads managers, APIs, DSPs)
  • 3+ years experience in ad tech technologies and strategies for implementing effective and efficient media campaigns
  • 3+ years experience with ad development tactics and optimization strategies to drive platform and product adoption as well and best practices from a training perspective
  • 2+ years experience with media agencies and social  platform relationships
  • Experience influencing at the leadership level
  • Organizational, Analytical, Problem Solving, and Multi-tasking experience
  • BA/BS degree
