The Role 

This role is a unique opportunity to begin your career or somebody early on in their media career or looking for a change to build an excellent foundation in media planning and be part of a team that works with collaboration at it’s heart. You will gain an understanding in the inner workings of a global media account building a solid grounding in how paid media supports our clients growth ambitions.

Working closely with the wider strategy, planning and activation teams, the function’s role is to support for a smooth end to end process from planning to reporting.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have an interest in both online and offline paid media. The individual should be a good communicator and enjoy the challenge of owning projects, ensuring efficiency is delivered in the end-to-end campaign process and the capacity to be involved in proactive asks and forward thinking.

Essential Criteria

  • A team player who is interested in and excited to learn more about the world of global
  • Show an active interest and maintain knowledge of advertising industry at large
  • Excellent organisational skills with excellent written, verbal, analytical and numerical skills
  • Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and numeracy in reviewing data sets
  • Experience using basic features of PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to communicate and present succinctly
  • Organised to support across multiple projects and workstreams so that deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Used to working end to end processes
  • Solutions focused with a mindset towards process optimisation

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience using tools for planning, measurement and competitor analysis
  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Basic understanding of media principles, campaign measurement and KPIs

Responsibilities

  • Support the team to coordinate annual and campaign level paid media planning process across EMEA
  • Assisting with day to day internal duties and assisting with client requests
  • Support on Ops Reporting, PCAs, Production delivery
  • Work with local markets to ensure their ongoing and ad-hoc deliverables are supplied on time, ensuring consistency and accuracy of reporting documents & data requests for onward use with clients
  • Responsible (with support) for the update and distribution of the budget and changes tracker
  • Keep updated with media channel developments, understanding the landscape and industry news and write-up actionable insights
  • Develop media planning knowledge
  • Own planning/reporting system, being responsible for reporting
  • Provide organized timelines for all projects and campaigns which cover client side and agency tasks
  • Keep updated on EMEA media channel developments and lead in the collation of competitor, market, and media activity that might identify new channels and test opportunities for upcoming campaigns
  • Share examples of great campaign activation from competitive and power brands across EMEA
