We are currently looking for an experienced Data Analytics Director to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the data product incubation, research, development, and go-to market.

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

  • Understand the positioning and the key values of platform-based data ISV
  • Fully understand Yuntu and Tencent DMP/RACE capability
  • Finish at least 6 qualified client data service cases on Yuntu, including at least 3 external clients
  • Support Tencent-GroupM collaboration project
  • Establish connection with WPP partnership, GMT, and agency data team
  • Help GroupM acquire ‘golden ISV vendor’ certificate of Yuntu
  • Clearly define the commercial / business model of platform data services

In six months:

  • Continuously distribute knowledge of platform data services to agency data teams
  • Document standard white book for using new platform services
  • Finish at least 18 qualified client data service cases, including awarded cases
  • Maintain ISV vendor position level of all managed platforms
  • Maintain good working relationship with both internal and external partners

In 12 months:

  • Take leadership role in driving platform service innovation
  • Keep upgrade platform data service capability and extend to new platforms or service opportunities popping up
  • Convert at least 2 new clients from pure data services to media services

What your day job looks like at GroupM:

  • Communicate with key stakeholders and business teams to extract business requirements.
  • Prepare PRD, product mock-up, backup for the development.
  • Work with internal development resource for the products or components development, project management.
  • Introduce products and solutions to colleagues or clients.

What you’ll bring:

  • Your client centric data analytics and audience strategy experience on the big platforms
  • Your insights and passion on media industry
  • Your high self-learning and self-adaptive ability

Minimum qualifications:

  • Have knowledge or experience in mathematical statistics, data analysis, data mining, etc.
  • Familiar with Excel, PPT and other common data analysis tools
  • Good logical thinking, written organization, and communication skills
  • Experience with big platform data tools, such as Yuntu (云图), Tencent DMP, Databank, etc.
  • Familiar with marketing models, such as Bytedance O-5A model, able to analyse and diagnose brand audience assets, and design the implementation path of brand audience assets
  • Sharp data analysis and consumer insight mindset, and able to study consumer psychology based on data, timely grasp the needs of target customers and make reasonable marketing strategies and operational suggestions
  • Careful and rigorous in work, active and open in mind
