MediaCom is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for an Content & Activation Manager to join us.  

In this role, you will be responsible for strategic direction and leadership within the team, delivering the most effective and innovative communications plans.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Head of Activation

 Measures of success

In three months, you would have:

  • Built solid relationships with Mediacom internal divisions
  • Began to constructively challenge clients/media vendors and staff, not just accepting what has gone before but always looking for new solutions and positive change

In six months, you would have:

  • Taken solid ownership of the digital product and built an understanding of how this can best benefit your clients in conjunction with the other media division experts you partner with
  • Lead from the front, producing excellent work with great attention to detail and best in market approach to negotiation.

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Ensured your team is a high performing, collaborative, motivated team with a strong culture centred around our core behaviours
  • Acted as a mentor and coach to department and successors, managing performance and inspiring the morale of the A&I Directors and department

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Work with the team to deliver best in class implementation planning and investment
  • Work closely with the Heads of Activation to identify, deliver and execute gold standard innovation and best in class product and investment solutions for our clients
  • Ensure MediaCom’s Digital product is best in market

What you will need:

  • In depth understanding of digital advertising campaign process.
  • Demonstrate sharp strategic thinking and effective problem solving skills
  • Ability to work within and effectively manage a team, decisively organising multiple assignments for both self and team direct reports
  • Adherence to tight deadlines while delivering flawless work
  • Extremely business-minded and detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Show ability in training and leadership capability
  • Expert in the process of implementation planning with a focus on delivering new solutions from suppliers using digital technology.
  • Have in depth understanding and a strong opinion on current market trends across digital, demonstrating market knowledge and expertise.
  • Highly numerate with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Successful and proven team management and development track record
  • Strategic vision and ability to translate this into business goals
  • Ability to find innovative solutions to investment issues (client & internal)
  • Be able to construct negotiation strategies to deliver on clients objectives
