Overview of the Job

MediaCom is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Associate Director to join us to support planning of all B2B campaigns across APJ region.


- Understand client’s business goals and marketing objectives and understand the role SEM plays to drive their business forward.
- Meeting and exceeding Paid Search benchmarks and achieving paid search goals
- Development of SEM marketing materials such as planning templates, education, case studies, POVs
- Driving the Paid Search innovation agenda
- Providing thought leadership and strategic guidance in Paid Search
- Key point of contact with Google – driving strategic relationship and driving value adds for the client.
- Representing Paid Search in relevant meetings, events and communications
- Assists in training, mentoring, and developing team members

Account Management

- Driving and developing the paid search strategy for each market, working to ensure implementation and optimisation to goals
- Providing presentations and quarterly Paid Search Reviews.
- Assumes accountability and ownership of regional search management and execution
- Keeps management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances

Program Management

- Understands multi-channel optimization best practices and articulates knowledge and client deliverables effectively
- Commands data analysis of key metrics to identify, recommend and implement changes for increasing the performance of client programs
- Assists with Global coordination with different teams to understand client’s vision


- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- 9+ years of Search experience and client/ account management. B2B marketing experience preferred.
- Experience in applying paid search optimization to brand-building & direct response initiatives
- Deep experience with Google Ads, SA360 and Campaign Manager 
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving abilities and time management skills
- Strong collaboration, project and stakeholder management skills in complex organisations. 
- Ability to work successfully with the team on multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Previous experience in regional / global coordination is preferred, but a good, hands-on understanding of how planning is done is essential
- Strong client and inter-agency relations skills
- Experience with MS Teams, MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
