Overview of job

We are looking for a dynamic, fashionable  and strategic media professional to lead one of the world’s top watch and jewellery businesses in China. As the L’Atelier Partner leading Bvlgari you will have a full team to support you deliver market leading work. This role will lead and develop the team, set new standards of media planning quality and strengthen the already strong partnership with client.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the L’Atelier China Managing Director.

Measures of success –

In three months, you would have:

  • You need to start to build up the basic relationship with current client and understand their current brand positioning and SWOT.
  • You need to have the initial development plan for current team

In six months, you would have:

  • You need to be familiar with current business and start to support managing director to achieve both client and company targets
  • You need to have an initial business plan developed for your client team

In 12 months, you would have:

  • You could fully handle the business and start to work on developing new potential opportunities
  • The ability to drive new strategic thinking and market leading luxury marketing ideas

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Key contact across entire planning cycle for senior brand clients and media directors / managers
  • Must have in-depth knowledge on client category, brands and manage specific client requests. Needs to provide appropriate input and direction to the agency units driving the entire value exchange process
  • Engage with senior-level/ clients to deliver media solutions that effectively, efficiently build business and brand value. Build relationships based on trust and real partnerships
  • Lead account ‘project manager’ for the entire business accountable for achieving deadlines across all campaigns and deliverables
  • Key liaison accountable for the entire work product (for assigned client brands) among each business unit that contribute to the overall media plan development process both internal and external
  • Work with roster agencies to ensure collaboration is happening and project manage as necessary
  • Responsible for team motivation and Company/Dept vision alignment. Manage the team day to day acting as a mentor to junior employees.

 

 

What you will need:

  • A minimum of 10-12 years’ experience in relevant media industry
  • Luxury, fashion related business experience is preferred.
  • Broad background , exposure to and experience in the entire research, planning and implementation process
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully with teams, and work under pressure
  • Familiarity with all media and has experience to provide full integration plan
  • Significant experience at all levels of agency-client relationships
  • Knowledgeable about key client personnel, issues, processes, goals and requirements
  • An innovation mindset, and a can-do attitude
