Overview of job
GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Compensation & Benefit Manager to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for responsible for designing, overseeing, implementing and managing company’s compensation and benefit program and making sure that the compensation package for employees are in alignment with our company’s overall strategic objective and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to: Senior HR Manager and HR Director

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

  • Assessing the organization’s pay structure
  • Participate in external market compensation surveys as conducted by third-parties. Prepare market studies for business units. Advise business unit partners on possible changes in market conditions, benchmark existing jobs and employee-pay for competitive placement within market
  • Evaluating compensation policies
  • Ensuring compensation and benefits plans are cost-effective and competitive
  • Monitoring and researching compensation and benefits trends
  • Comparing benefits and compensation plans, job classifications, and salaries through data and cost analyses

 In six months:

  • Designing reports and recommendations based on research and analysis for HR Director
  • Responsible for the on-going placement of new jobs within the Global grade structure. Complete job analysis and evaluation to ensure equitable placement based on external market conditions as well as internal equity
  • Ensuring company is compliant with governance policy
  • Collaborating with outside vendors, such as Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, and Health BPJS.
  • Development and design of compensation packages and policies aligned with the organization's strategy
  • Administering the organization’s benefits programs (e.g., retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, insurance policies, etc.)

In 12 months:

  • Assessment of the employees' needs by means of different elevation methods and techniques
  • Creation and improvement of salary, benefit and bonus systems
  • Ensure reward and benefits strategies (both tangible and non-tangible) , policies and reporting are comply and align with Local, Regional/Global and governance
  • Alignment of all compensation systems to general conditions on the labor market as well as on legal regulations
  • Evaluate the Implementation & Effectiveness of Total Rewards Plans (Evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of Total Rewards plans, programs, processes, and tools (e.g., benefit plans, compensation programs and health management) utilizing relevant measurement and feedback mechanisms and make necessary modifications
  • Together with HR Director make dealing and communicate with Regional and Global team in term of compensation & benefit programs iniative and evaluate program effectiveness to be implement in local market
  • Support of managers in their decisions about compensation packages and ways to motivate employees
  • Preparation of regular audits and reports for information storage reasons

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience for Compensation and Benefit area more than 5 years
  • Prior experience in HR practices and compensation cycle management
  • Practical experience in the field of compensations and benefits advantageous
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Good analytical skills and, at best, experience with quantitative data collection
  • Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems
  • Adequate knowledge of current labor rules and regulations
  • Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits
  • Extensive knowledge of HRIS and MS Office
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Degree in business/economics, HR management or other related fields
