Position at Mindshare

Head of Data Intelligence will be responsible for supervising and leading Data Intelligence team. You have in-depth understanding of the processes behind data management, data mining, data visualization and analytics modeling that can turn data into insights. You will be required to work on data requests and projects from various stakeholders when needed.

Reporting of the role
This role reports to Mindshare CEO.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage, support, and grow Data Intelligence team which consists of data engineers and data scientists.
  • Lead the team to deliver Business Intelligence solutions and create actionable business insights to answer business questions, drive business decisions, and develop recommendations.
  • Oversee the planning of data projects, prepare updates and implement all phases for projects.
  • Monitor work of Data Intelligence team and ensure effective implementation of all data projects to achieve all project objectives.
  • Work with stakeholders and functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
  • Attend requirements meetings, assist customers in crafting their requests.
  • Participate in the management team.
  • Monitor industry trends to identify upcoming challenges or opportunities for the organization.
What you will need:

Technical Skills Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related discipline.
  • 5 years of professional work experience with extensive experience of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
  • More than 2 years’ experience in Data Science.
  • Proficient with SQL, Python or R to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
