EssenceMediacom is looking for an Account Director to join their Singapore office working with a various local and regional brand. You will be responsible for leading the client relationship and delivering the highest quality communication strategies. In this role, you will be the interface between the client and the agency and will be responsible for fully understanding their business, interpreting their communications planning and implementation needs.

Measures of success – 
In 3 months:

  • On boarded onto the key accounts with full induction/training into all of the other facets of the business such as trading, specialised services (internal and within GroupM).
  • Built good relationships with your team and helped them deliver even better work
  • Gained trust from the client and impressed with your contribution to the work

In 6 months:

  • Managed and delivered campaigns that have a high and innovative standard
  • Identified ways to improve processes on the account and  delivered
  • Be able to identify opportunities to cross sell/upsell products eg social, programmatic, mobile etc

In 12 months:

  • Become an integral part of the core team, participating and contributing to the overall strategy and ideation phase and seamlessly linking the digital solution to the overall solution
  • The proof of your success will be clients’ satisfaction and increasing business profit / commercial results

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Full integration of media channels and integrated strategies
  • Integration and development of your team (3-4 persons)
  • Improvements in ways of working, processes and commercial growth
  • Awards winning campaigns
  • Develop robust benchmarks and norms across channels and media types
  • Translate media plans into effective buys and supervise implementation
  • Oversee and quality control of media monitoring, proof of performance, campaign optimization and post-analysis to ensure client objectives are meet, including:
  • Anticipate, review and present point-of-views on online media trends, issues, developments and opportunities
  • Share digital points of view, research and case studies with the business team(s) he/she works with
  • Develop and maintain good relationship with key media vendors and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with clients and have a good understanding of our clients’ business
  • Help to develop local business through existing clients and potential new opportunities, including the sell in of new ideas and services to the clients

What you will need:
Minimum 6-8 years relevant working experience in media agency in both an implementation and leadership capacity

  • Experienced in managing & leading a specialised team
  • A proven ability to translate digital strategy into operation
  • Worked on business pitches
  • Proactive attitude and result driven mindset
  • Produce work of high quality
  • Business sense and understanding
  • Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships
  • Able to sell concepts and solutions to clients and key stakeholders
  • Adaptable to the changing environment
  • Passionate about "new" media communication and evolving technology
  • Positive and attitude and good entrepreneurship
