GroupM Internship Program 2022

Starting in May 2022, you will spend a year training and working on real advertising campaigns alongside media experts. ​

What to expect: 

You will be in an extensive internship program for 6-8 weeks in a designated departments. However, you will be able to get a gist of every department on the go.

What your Day looks like at GroupM

  • Work closely with Media Planners to develop and maintain media plans
  • Prepare and update purchase orders within the execution framework
  • Manage Tracking of Client and Competition.
  • Facilitate timely and accurate campaign launches including troubleshooting and resolving any issues with media/account teams and media vendors
  • Analyze data to provide client with recommendations for optimizations.
  • Maintain relationships with media suppliers and internal teams
  • Prepare and update media flowcharts for Media Planner’s assistance.
  • Monitor client billing; resolve any related issues
  • Ensure all media projects proceed according to plan and on deadline
  • Participate in media-planning strategy meetings with team members, and help develop new ideas for client media plans.
  • Maintain a record of basic deliverables i.e. Droppages, premium positions etc
Who are we looking for? 
  • University students in their 7- 8 semester from Media/Marketing backgrounds and with at least one internship experience.​

What you’ll bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in oral and written communications.
  • Demonstrate strong interest to build an exciting career in media and communications.
  • Appreciation for numbers, statistics and data with the ability to interpret and translate the findings into successful media campaigns.
  • Adaptable to constant changes, as the media business is ever-evolving.

Interview process:

First Round: 

Upon application – candidates eligible for the program will be sent a video assignment to complete.
